Why Fibre To The Office (FTTO) for airports?

FTTO is particularly suitable for environments that have special requirements, like a large number of ports and whose infrastructure is distributed over larger buildings or connects multiple buildings with each other. In airports security is one of the key topics to tackle. Also, long distances need to be covered. With FTTO you have less floor distribution rooms that need to be serviced, maintained and secured and in the end this solution needs less space than a traditional LAN.
