Happy Year of the Dragon

Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring or Lunar New Year, is one of the most important festivals in Chinese culture. It marks the beginning of the lunar new year and is a time for family reunions, cultural festivities, and the welcoming of a new year.

2024 is the Year of the Dragon. Each year in the Chinese zodiac is associated with an animal sign, and the Dragon is considered a symbol of strength, courage, and good fortune.

It is a time to embrace Chinese traditions, with family reunions, enjoying meals together, and decorating the home with red lanterns. It is also a custom to give ‘red envelopes’ containing money as a gift when visiting family & friends.

This year, Chinese New Year begins 10th February and lasts 15 days
